AITHEOS LLC ("Aitheos," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Strong Human Daily mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use the App. By downloading, installing, or using Strong Human Daily, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What we collect

2.1 Phone number

We collect your phone number for account authentication, handled through Firebase Authentication (a Google service). Your phone number is linked to your identity within the App and is not shared beyond the authentication provider.

2.2 Meal photos

When you photograph a meal, the image is uploaded to Firebase Storage (Google Cloud) and sent to Google Gemini AI for automated nutritional analysis. Meal photos are stored in your account, linked to your identity, and are viewable by your assigned fitness coach.

2.3 Voice and audio

During coach voice onboarding, audio is captured from your device microphone and transmitted to Google Gemini AI for real-time processing and profile extraction. Audio recordings are not stored. Only the extracted text profile is saved to your account.

2.4 Health and fitness data

The App collects calorie intake and macronutrient breakdowns (protein, carbohydrates, fat), workout logs including exercise type and perceived exertion (RPE) and optional workout selfies, weekly weigh-in data, and water intake tracking. All of this is linked to your identity, stored in Firebase Firestore (Google Cloud), and viewable by your assigned fitness coach.

2.5 Device tokens

We collect your Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) device token to deliver push notifications, including meal reminders and coach messages. The token is linked to your identity.

2.6 Usage data

Basic usage analytics through Firebase Analytics may be collected in the future. As of the effective date, Firebase Analytics is not active. This policy will be updated if that changes.

3. How we use your information

  • Authentication: verifying your identity through phone-number auth.
  • Core app functionality: logging meals, analyzing nutrition, tracking workouts, recording weigh-ins, monitoring water intake.
  • AI-powered nutritional analysis: processing meal photos through Google Gemini AI to estimate macros and calories.
  • Voice onboarding: processing spoken responses through Gemini AI to extract a text-based fitness profile.
  • Coaching: giving your assigned coach visibility into your logs, photos, and nutritional data so they can deliver personalized guidance.
  • Push notifications: meal reminders and other relevant notifications.
  • App improvement: maintaining and improving App functionality and performance.

4. Coach access to your data

When you are assigned a fitness coach within Strong Human Daily, that coach can view your meal photos and AI-generated nutritional breakdowns, workout logs, weekly weigh-ins, water intake records, and the text-based profile generated during voice onboarding. Coach access is provided solely for coaching services. Coaches are not permitted to export, sell, or share your data outside of the App.

5. AI processing disclaimer

Strong Human Daily uses Google Gemini AI to estimate nutritional content from meal photos and extract profile information from voice onboarding. AI-generated nutritional estimates are approximations and may not be accurate. They are informational only and should not be considered medical advice, dietary prescriptions, or a substitute for a qualified healthcare provider, registered dietitian, or licensed nutritionist. Do not rely solely on AI-generated data for medical decisions or management of any health condition.

6. Third-party services

6.1 Firebase (Google)

We use Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Messaging. Data stored in Firebase is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure. See the Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Data Processing Terms.

6.2 Google Gemini AI

Meal photos and voice audio are sent to Google Gemini AI for processing. Data sent to Gemini is processed per Google's Generative AI Terms of Service. We do not use Gemini in a manner that permits Google to use your data to train its AI models, to the extent such controls are available to us under our API agreement.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data for advertising purposes. We share data only with: Firebase/Google Cloud as our infrastructure provider, Google Gemini AI for the processing described above, your assigned coach, and when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

8. Tracking and advertising

  • No IDFA usage.
  • No cross-app or cross-site tracking.
  • No advertisements in the App.
  • No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

9. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted as described in the next section. We do not retain your data after account deletion, except where required by law or to resolve disputes.

10. Account deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from within the App at Profile → Delete Account. Upon deletion, the following is permanently removed: your phone number and auth credentials, all meal photos and workout selfies, all nutritional logs, workout logs, weigh-in records, and water intake data, your fitness profile and coach assignment, and your device token for push notifications. Some data may persist briefly in encrypted backups before being permanently purged according to Google Cloud's data-deletion practices.

11. Data security

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Data at rest is stored in Google Cloud infrastructure, with encryption at rest, physical security controls, and access management. Access is limited to authorized personnel and assigned coaches. We implement commercially reasonable security measures; no electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Children's privacy

Strong Human Daily is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will take steps to delete it promptly.

13. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access your data, request correction, delete your account and data (Profile → Delete Account), request a portable copy, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

California residents

Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, to request deletion of that information, to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell your information), and to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

European Economic Area residents

Our legal bases for processing your personal data include: contract (providing App services), consent (e.g., microphone access for voice onboarding), and legitimate interest (improving the App).

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you through the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
